i have 800sf of the 3in not the typical 8in wide planks. i heard the smaller planks are more work. i have the material allready. existing carpet needs to be removed and there is no furniture in the room. shoe mold will allso need to be installed.
How much will it cost to have laminate installed?
I install in MT and charge $2.00 per sq ft for all laminates (with the exception of the tile pattern stuff, $.50 up-charge). You could also expect about $.11/sq ft for take up and the base could vary a lot depending on what you chose. That should give you a ball park figure to look for.
Reply:I saved over $1500. by installing it myself and I am a senior citizen. It is time consuming but there are lots of instructions out there. Try it.
Reply:try the DIY network and do it yourself. Then you won't have to worry about cost
