Drawing on shirts?

Whats the best marker/paint/drawing material to use on a shirt or shoes so that the colour will not run in the wash?

Drawing on shirts?
You can get fabric markers at Walmart or any place that has craft supplies. You can also get fabric paint for larger areas. It works pretty good.
Reply:You can use acrylic paint. I airbrush T-Shirts as a hobby. Acrylic paint is what I use all of the time. Heat dry with a hair dryer or iron for about 2 minutes on a shirt. You can also heat dry it in a dryer for about 15 min. Reverse the shirt inside out before using the iron though.

I hope this helps?
Reply:Try this out, its my new thing....get a bleach pen and draw on dark coloured tees. Put something in as a backing first, sketch your drawing out with chalk, then go over with the pen. Wait until it bleaches, then rinse well. I also use acrylic paint, and stamps, using fabric painting acrylic additive, then iron. I also use permanent ink(sharpies).
