How can i wash my shoes?

I have some nice white K.Swiss shoes which i bought about a year ago, but ever since then they have become a bit dirty and have lost their 'whiteness'. I don't really know what material they are made from but I was wondering whats the best way i can wash them to get the whiteness back? I was thinking more along the lines of submerging it in a bucket of NapiSan or something.

Any ideas would be appreciated, thank you!

How can i wash my shoes?
clean them with your hands and after that put them in the washermachine
Reply:If you put it in the washing machine for a little while they should be ok! I think...I put a pair of converse and they washed fine!
Reply:I wouldn't wash them that will cause the glue to start breaking down, I would go buy some white shoe cleaner and use that. Leather; I found this on there webiste

Here are our cleaning and care instructions for K-Swiss shoes.

* Leather Rub gently with a damp cloth using lukewarm water and mild soap

* Do NOT machine wash

* Do not use bleach

Suede and Nubuck

* Use a "suede" brush to brush away dirt (use when shoe is dry)

* Do not use water (may cause permanent stain)

Synthetic Materials

* Depending upon material texture, follow instructions for leather, suede, or nubuck

Canvas

* Rub gently with a damp cloth using lukewarm water and mild soap

* Can be machine washed but must be "air dried" with no direct sunlight or other source of heat

* Do not use bleach

Drying Instructions

* Allows allow shoes to "air dry" naturally at room temperature

* Stuff with paper on shoe tree to maintain shape

* Do not force dry shoes with any source of direct heat

Stains may be removed using a stain remover suitable for the above materials.

Good luck on your shoes.
Reply:Chuck them in the washing machine!
Reply:don't wash them because these may result of removing of the skin so i suggest that rub it with water
Reply:I used to clean my shoes with shampoo or soap and a tooth brush to clean my shoes when i was a kid and they came up looking like brand new
Reply:Give them a clean with baby wipes. I use them for my shoes and it makes them look brand new, without worrying about them shrinking by submerging in water and waiting forever for them to dry. You just wipe them down and you can wear them straightaway! No hassles, No mess and No time waisting! Try it! You won't be disappointed. Good Luck!
Reply:Mix a little napisan with water and soak a sponge / cleaning cloth in the mixture. Dab a little at a time over the shoes and they should clean up petty well.

Other than that there is a product out on the market called 'Sheer Magic'. It's often used by wedding dress shops to get tar marks and other stains out of the fine fabric of wedding gowns. This is AMAZING STUFF and would work really well on your shoes if you can get a hold of some.

Good luck!
Reply:Hi everyone,.

I clean my shoes by wiping them liberally with tuna and throwing them out the back door.

In the morning, they are always sparkle-arkling clean.

Reply:W e have d same problm w/ my nike shoes,the best way for u to do to regain its whiteness is to wash/brushing it with soap and water mixed w/ chlorox. And what about on areas where there are creased marks? apply a coat or two of white correction fluid over it, then , voila, 8s done!
