Prom question!!?

i am wearing a really bright red dress to prom, it is shiny at the top and then it has like a slip over it of sparkly red material. i need to know what color shoes i should wear becuz someone told red shoes and a red dress dont go good together. and i need advice on how to do my makeup and hair. thanks!!!!

Prom question!!?
i wore a red dress too last year for my prom...i wore red shoes too and everyone said i looked good but i guess a good color that goes with red is black or you could wear silver..i would rather go with silver because it goes with everything..i had a really high bun with curls coming down from...it really depends on the length of your hair what i did was search the internet for hair ideas and printed out the hair i wanted and showed it to the stylist...you can find alot of hairstyles on the internet.make up depends on how bright the dress is i did a light pink eye shadow because the color of the dress made it look a little red..light red lipgloss and just little bit of blush and a little concealer because i have dark circles under my eyes...
Reply:1. Black sparkley shoes always go...or something simple and black actually is fine too since your dress seems to be heavy.

2. Popular styles at prom are mostly consisting of curly hair...I'd suggest getting it curled and also asking your hairdresser what would look best on you, because certain hair-dos only look good on certain face shapes.

3. Keep your makeup simple!! It makes all of us look much more natural and thus beautiful. I'd say a little mascara, eye liner, light blush, sparkley eye shadow (silver or red), and a nice shade of lip gloss...but don't go overboard, just a little bit of that stuff will do the trick!
Reply:As far as what looks good that will ultimately be up to you. I think that red shoes can absolutely work. It all depends. As far as hair and make up...if it is a long dress most usually wear their hair up...short dress...down. The only thing I have to say in regards to makeup is if your eyes are really done up ease up on the lips and vice-versa...but the main thing is its your prom...have fun! Even if you do end up with a crazy outfit...trust me enjoy the moment. It will be more fun to look back at those types of pictures anyway when you get older.
Reply:i think gold shoes....but only like a gold heel...have the rest of the shoe diamonties or something thats what i did ....like a sandle shoe....

Oo have ur hair hair curly to the side, with a my winehouse beehive at the back... tht looks pretty!

make up keep it simple so it looks natural but yet party looking like smokey eyes or something =) good luck!!

xx
Reply:def. black or red shoes. if it's black then a black clutch purse would be awesome!
Reply:black or silver! =)
Reply:black or silver shoes. i prefer silver. make up. light color eye shadow, go a bit darker towards the end of your eyelid. eyeliner either brown or black, depends on lightness of skin, light go for brown. red lipstick, mascara, TIP, if you put eye shadow on your bottom eye lid it makes your eyes stand out. HAVE FUN!!!!!!!
Reply:silver shoes.. that or blank if you are a lil punky.. silver eye shadows works too!.. and it's all about the diamonds for earrings (even if they are fake!) good luck xx
Reply:wear gold shoes or silver if the sparkly red material is more silvery.
Reply:I'm just a guy, but I think red shoes will work with that dress.
Reply:I'd wear gold shoes and a gold pendant necklace or silver shoes and a silver pendant necklace with that dress ... the best thing if you are wearing a 'bright color' like that is to match your shoes to your jewelry ... and carry a gauzy shawl or stole in a darker red to 'break up' the brightness of your prom dress.
Reply:my sister just recently went to a dance in a red dress with cheetah print high heels. i know it sounds really uglybut it was actually adorablee(:
