How do you stop your feet smelling?

im at work 8 hours in a classy office. usually running around like crazy wearing high heels. I usually don't wear nylons with my heels because it just feels to slippery and i don't like the feeling of them on my legs.

my feet start to sweat and the shoe starts to smell bad from it when i take them off.

is there anyway to stop it from smelling.

i dont have this problem at all with any of my heels only certain ones i'm starting to think maybe its the material. dont know.

How do you stop your feet smelling?
try spraying your feet with right guard, our whatever deodorant you currently use. the foot doctor gave me this advice many years ago. it seems to work well for me.
Reply:It probably is the shoes. Try foot powder.
Reply:smells comes from bacteria. one of other bacteria environment is sweat. you can do two ways, first stop sweating and second kill those bacteria. to prevent much sweat you can to use natural fabric like cotton or silk. strongly suggest you NOT to wear any synthetic fabric. why ? because natural fabric help skin to "breathe" and better absorb liquid. to kill bacteria you can ask for doctor suggestion or simply wearing anti bacteria socks.

my favorite brand are MUNDO. I think it specially made for male. i prefer the kind that have finger like glove. so my finger feet not touching each other, its help to keep it cool and it reducing sweat also. i can wear it for 4 days non stop and still smells nothing.

tips: if it doesnt help you try to use dry stick deodorant.. it is for arm pits but I use it if I'm going for hiking or tracking.
Reply:How else would you stop your feet from smelling? You pinch their nose!! :)
Reply:i would definatley wear tights. that is probably the main sourse of ur problem
Reply:Foot cream and powder, but really you should get some flats or something comfortable.
Reply:Soak your feet in a gallon of warm water and a cap full or two of bleach Sounds weird but it works
Reply:Definitely make sure you wear different shoes each day so that they have a chance to dry and air out.
Reply:Use BONDSnfoot powder.
Reply:Get some shoe spray.......it'll help with the sweatiness of your foot and the smell of the shoe. Look for it in the cosmetics/toiletries section of a store.....or grocery store.
Reply:Could be the material I know plastic make it worse. I put baby powder in my shoes before I put them on.
Reply:I would use a strong scented lotion.* It helps my feet and it's just like wearing a regular shoe. Good Luck =]

Reply:You can get a spray to stop your feet sweating

Or try a different brand of tights ? Maybe a better quality or just different make

lol hope this helps
Reply:try to wash your feet when you shower really well with antibacterial soap- the kind of soap you would wash your hands with.

it's more powerful than regular body wash and it obviously will kill the germs that mix with your sweat, causing the odor.

...good luck with that one!

oh yeah, and on your lunch break, why don't you take some time to wash your feet... like in the bathroom, if you can? ...problem solved! :)
