How many years can you keep (new) shoes?

If you have a pair of new leather sneakers and don't wear it. How long can you keep it? Will the materials be affected after, say 5 years? 10 years?

How many years can you keep (new) shoes?
With proper care it can be kept many years. don't keep them in damp area. Keep the little bag that prevent humidity inside the box (they usually come with the shoes when you buy them). Of course you need also to take care not to let your feet size change so the shoes will still fit them!
Reply:Why would you have sneakers and not wear them? LOL

Leather can last years if properly conditioned and taken care of. Ask the shoe store the best way to condition it and clean it.
Reply:Well the shoes should stay fresh when u first buy them and never wear them .

Let me ask u this Do u like the shoes ? and if u don't like the shoes then who brought them 4 u ?

Write Back .
Reply:Of course they won't , keep them in the box and they will outlive you!. Lot's of people have collected trainers (sneaks) from the 70s and 80s and they're in perfect condition!.
Reply:Mine are around 5 years old and doing awesome. They'll probably last another at least 3.

Come on, why are you asking? Go ahead and buy them sneakers and see how long they last.
Reply:There's no expiry date on shoes you know.
Reply:till they dont fit u anymore
