I need a way to make myself taller at least 1 foot for my halloween costume.?

I was thinking of attaching things to my shoes, but I need a material that's sturdy but light that I can use.

Reply:either try platform boots/shoes or they do make stilts for your feet that you wear like shoes.
Reply:Think there are platforms shoes that you can get at local costume shops, or get lifters in the shoes.
Reply:I don't know about a whole foot taller, but you an get an extra 5 or 6 inches if you buy the right shoes, and they don't need to be spiky heels either, many stores that cater to "gothic" interests and stores that are selling costumes right now have boots with platform heels that high.
Reply:theres these tools that dryway workers use there made of alunimun i think not to heavy easy to use but if u dont no one that works in the drywall industry there expensive. they come in alot of sizes from 2 feet to like 10 feet
Reply:take a metal coffee can, attach straps of some type of fabric or leather to each side and then tie it over your shoes as you stand on top of it. this is cool, and it makes awesome noises when you walk. be careful though, use a good sturdy can. be careful and goodluck.

unless you have drywall stilts, you won't make it. pick another costume..
