Can I wash my shoes in the washing machine? How?

I have all white sneakers. They are made of Cow leather, some synthetic materials, rubber soles, and what looks like suede. The suede was originally a little gray. What will this do to the shoes?

Can I wash my shoes in the washing machine? How?
you CAN NOT put suede in the wahing machine! it stains. use a suede cleaner and look on the net or ask an assistant in a shoe store for how to clean the rest of the shoe.
Reply:Wash them in cold water in the gentle cycle, let them air dry, preferably out in the sun. I do it to sneakers all the time. There will come a point where some of the rubber may separate from the outside rim of the shoe, but that can be fixed with ShoeGoo.
Reply:You can't put your shoes in a washing machine. It will mess up your shoes. Just bleach it back white if that's your problem. And just don't mess with the suede anymore.
Reply:I think you can. Just take the ties out, put them in an old pillow cover or a sack and like that in the washing machine...wash cold.
