Do Die Hard Vegetarians, you know, the ones who think it's wrong to kill animals, Wear Shoes Made From Leather? Or are they made from vegetables or from other materials not originating from animals?

there are however many shoes that are very beautiful and amazing that are not made from animal skin.

Reply:If they had the shoes before going veg. then some people will continue to wear them or give them away. I personally don't buy leather, although I have accidently bought a couple of things that were. Can't really tell the difference on a lot of things.

Reply:nope. they are usually die hard vegans. the vegans i know dont use anything that came from an animal not even honey...ima vegetarian but i still own leather

All of my shoes are either canvas or made from man made materials. The only skin I wear is my own.

Reply:I don't know ANY vegetarians or vegans who wear leather - for the same reason they don't eat the cows it comes from.





There are plenty of synthetic shoe alternatives around including fake leather, rubber, cotton canvas... the list goes on.
Reply:Die-hard vegetarians don't wear shoes. Hemp sandals, maybe.
