How do I stop foam from shredding?

OK, so my shoe size is a 4. I've just learned the magic of shoe inserts and heel grips and when I put them together, I magically can wear size 5s.Yay! I don't have to shop in the kiddy section all the time now. However, the shoe grips that I just bought off this street vendor are made of this foam material that shreds when I walk in them for more than 5 minutes. In my elation, I bought ten pairs of them, and I really would like to use them. They're extra thick, thus allowing me to wear the size 5s. Please help! If you know of anything I can spray on them to make them tougher (but not painfully so) or something I can stick over them, whatever - I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

You could try some cloth tape(used for wrapping sports injuries) it comes in wide rolls,is breathable and sanitary. Might work..

Good Luck
Reply:defected product,.yes.,

buyer beware its all out there,..,
Reply:Unfortunately, they're likely made from a low-quality foam that was not designed for this purpose. The cells, or bubbles, in the foam do not have a strong enough bond to stay together under sheering (side-to-side) motion. So they separate. Sorry, you were sold an inferior product.
