Shoes to wear to a party?

okay so i am having a party and wearing this black cocktail dress that looks a little bit like this

but it is made with a velvety black material with black satin trim. Since its my party im not sure if black shoes would be appropriate because i do wanna stand out.

Reply:I advise black. I know you want to stand out but it's quiteb a pretty dress. And you don't want to stand out by mismatching colours. So no shinystuff, maybe dark blue, green. As long as it's a dark and quiet colour I think it will work.
Reply:with an all black dress it always looks good to wear any color shoes. i would suggest red shoes or even something crazier. anything goes with black so have fun with the colors
